Security explained clearly
Tradematic is a review application, not a broker connection. It does not ask for brokerage credentials, cannot route orders, and keeps your live account separate.
Bring in supported CSV exports or enter trades manually. Tradematic does not request broker usernames, passwords, or API keys.
Tradematic reviews trading behavior and performance. It cannot place, cancel, modify, or route trades.
Your brokerage account remains separate from the journal and under your control.
Data model
Tradematic uses Firebase services for journal data, screenshots, authentication, and synchronization.
Journal data and screenshots are protected while moving between the app and Firebase services and while stored by those services. Access is tied to your authenticated account.
Core journal data may remain available during temporary connection interruptions and synchronize after connectivity returns. Sign-in, screenshots, generated reviews, and some cloud-backed actions require internet access.
When you request a generated review, relevant trade and journal context is sent over an encrypted connection through Tradematic's cloud proxy to generate the response.
Creem acts as Merchant of Record and processes checkout and tax. Tradematic does not see or store your payment card details.
Tradematic is not described as end-to-end encrypted or as a fully local-only product. Firebase is the cloud system used to store and synchronize journal information. This wording is intentional so you can make an informed choice.
